Description

Sculptor Dana A. McEacharn is a native of Machias, Maine. He specializes in three dimensional and bas relief works which portray the work and natural world of Washington County, Maine. Every step from the original modeling, mold work, and casting and finishing is completed by Dana in his Machias studio. Dana casts his pieces in high density gypsum polymer resin. After drying and detailing, each piece is finished to resemble molten bronze castings. Individual sculptures will vary.

Many of Dana’s pieces are purchased by families whose parents and grandparents survived doing very hard work in difficult conditions. Each is signed and numbered by the artist and displays easily on your desk or bookcase.
